Loft Uno

Loft Uno is a collaborative Tabletop RPG played in groups of 3 to 5 players using a single Deck of Uno cards from the classic Mattel game. As a Loft Uno participant, you'll be using the cards to craft the best possible dating show where the goal is not to find love, but to destroy everyone else in your way to winning.

The game freely flows through the conversation between candidates trying to work through various dating situations, standard or not. The viewers need drama to stay interested, and that's where the Uno cards come in. When it's your turn to cause chaos and introduce new elements to the story, you can play one Uno card and use it to decide how the others will have to react to your curveball.

The game can flow for as long as you want. Whenever a player runs out of cards or the deck is empty, go to an ad break and reshuffle the deck. You can even use the best of house rules; stacking +2 until one player has to draw an armful of cards.

You play both the participants and the producers. Always keep in mind the main goal of the show: it's not about winning, it's about making sure everyone else loses! Play those cards, throw crazy plot twists in your friend's carefully crafted stories, and craft the best dating show together.

This game was originally planned for the "Shit Or Get Off the Pot: A Solo Game Jam", until I realized that the name meant games played by one person, not designed by one person! Faced with this massive mistake, I decided to run my own solo-dev game jam where I design and release 10 imperfect one-page Tabletop RPGs as a solo game designer in a month. Maybe that'll become a real jam one day!
