Losing your Marbles

Losing your Marbles is a Tabletop RPG about navigating the "joys" of corporate politics and hierarchy using a set of marbles. Your group of 3 to 5 players, with one player playing the role of the CEO, will take on totally normal corporate situations such as un-jamming the printer, dealing with a rogue AI, or trying to negotiate with a devil for your next raise.

As you work through the situation, the CEO might ask you to pay for success using some of your character's marbles, or reward you with more marbles if you act in a way that pleases them. If you ever run out of marbles and can't keep going, it's time to "lose your marbles"! Describe your character breaking down due to stress and causing chaos until the CEO is satisfied with your antics. Refresh your marbles supply and act as if nothing happened, like most corporations do.

And that's all the rules! I hope you all have fun playing totally normal days in a totally normal company with a totally average CEO.

This game was originally planned for the "Shit Or Get Off the Pot: A Solo Game Jam", until I realized that the name meant games played by one person, not designed by one person! Faced with this massive mistake, I decided to run my own solo-dev game jam where I design and release 10 imperfect one-page Tabletop RPGs as a solo game designer in a month. Maybe that'll become a real jam one day!
